olympus stylus 500 camera...? if so how did your underwater pics come out?

A friend of mine has a 720 that works okay.
Actually, his only problem with the camera was trying to take pictures of his tank.
He said it didn't shoot through the water very well.

thats for the reply, i have the 500 and it takes great pics, but im having a stability problem, the shutter speed is really slow for underwater pics. im thinking about getting the canon eos 20d.

I was using an Olympus c3030. It's older but is still a good camera, actually a great camera when I bought it (paid $1k

). Now I have a Canon Rebel XT and am loving it so far. I would like to try out more lenses just to see the difference but I want to try before I buy. And the Canon cost me another $1k

y did u go with the rebel xt? is it a good camera, and does it take as good pics as the eos 20 or 30d?

I have a canon 20D, it shoots AMAZING pictures, being a professional photographer I obviously need quality, it does nicely through the tank, have only tried it under water once as the housing for it costs as much as the camera and I borrowed a friends.

im not a pro. photographer or anything, i just like to get the best thing i can afford so i dont have to go back and by another. is it easy to use?
