I have a small 5" dog face puffer and he is usually a light grey throughout the day and sometimes changes to a darker grey throughout the day.
We just introduced a porcupine puffer who is the same size and it was following my dog face who was getting scared and swimming away quickly. The dog face changed from his normal light grey to dark grey very quickly. The dog face then went and hid in a rock that he sleeps in and started lightening up. He then saw the porcupine puffer fish and got dark again. He then became splotchy (light and dark greyish/brown). Is this normal? What should I do?
