Dog Face Puffer not eating...Need help

I have a Dog Face Puffer not eating anything and is on the verge of passing away...its a pitful sight and i can't stand to all the resultless efforts i have pushed. So far, i have tried, brine shrimp, squid, krill, flakes, and goldfish and nothing seems to take...all tank levels are normal...i need some help.

try silversides, my golden puffer loves them. and if those don't work, try some kind of shrimp(live) and dropping it into the tank , and if he doesnt eat that, get a feeder stick and wave a silversides/shrimp anything meaty that really smells in his face. how long have you had him? where did you get him? how long has he not been eating?

dlight is right about what you can try. Also, he is right in the fact that you did not give us much to go on. Such as how long you have had it, size of tank, tankmates, and did it eat well prior to now. Also, what type Dog (if known) and size in inches. Now just as a side note I had 2 Pork Puffers who did not eat for 4 weeks and both survived and are healthy today, so don't give up yet give us some info and we will try to help.
