dogface puffer

I wanted to get a cowfish, but read that they will eat starfish (I have a cc star and a brittlestar). Would a dogface puffer be o.k. with the starfish? The only other tank inhabitants are 2 yellowtail damsels and a tiny tubeworm.Tank is 50 gals.Thanks!

No. Puffers cannot be kept with ANY inverts(IE: shrimp, snails, corals, and STARFISH). So no, a puffer(dog face) would not be ok with any invert. Hope i helped!

No it would not work, and 50 gallons is going to limit you...even if a dogface did not eat inverts, most likely in less than a year it would outgrow that tank, or you would be doing water changes everyday to keep the trates down. Puffers grow very quickly. Most cows would get too big as well.
