mine won't eat shrimp or krill. and is not very acctive is this normal?

My dogface puffer was the same way when I first got him.(bout 4 weeks ago) They are not a real active fish. mine cruises around but he also has his spots where he just sits. I feed mine formula 1 and frozen bay shrimp. How long have you had him/her

? Maybe you just need to give him a little more time.

What type of food are you feeding your puff? Is it dry food? If so, try feeding frozen.
I do not have much luck with marines eating dry foods--even the expensive varieties are generally refused. Its either frozen or live for them.

I feed mine frozen brine shrimp and the small peel and eat shrimp that you get at the grocery store. He loves it!
