I have one. Its a good energy efficient pump. You need to feed it with 1.5" pipe and if you reduce the output side below 1.5" too 1" the flow of the pump is almost cut in half.
I suggest you take a look on the Custom Aquatics site (their down by San Diego) look for the Dart model Sequence pump. Their having a sale right now (179.00) this pump is even better then the Amp Master because of the seals they use. I'm going to swap out my AM3K for oneof these pumps.
