Here's a question for you guys. I've got two well maintained, established tanks. 300 & 150. I'd like to start up a small tank for our office. Something around 40-50 gal. My question is, if I use LR, LS, and water from these tanks, will the new one still cycle? Or least partially cycle? Thanks in advance for your advice & help.

If those tanks are established and you use rock and sand from those tanks you should not see a cycle or ammonia spike at all. As long as the transport is quick to minimize die off.

Your tank will still cycle because the saltwater and the level of the baterial filter will still need to establish. It's no big deal - just stick a few clown fish on there are wait a month.
