This is my favorite butterfly. I used to rescue them from work until I got a zoo or aquarium to take them. Their diets are way to expensive and they are very picky about it.
The Mellon fly, this is the pacific subspecies, only found near Hawaii, only eats coral unique to there. Often passes up species of coral that live in Hawaii but a slightly different color. Theres also one from the Red Sea, easier to get coral from there but thats all it will ever accept.
If you have an unlimited supply of Pocillopora, you may do ok, coral was hard to come by back in the day
