Dont buy without GOOD pictures!

Never buy ANYTHING from someone online, or someone local withouth receiving very good and clear pictures of what you are supposed to be receiving.
Also, always make sure that both parties are very clear on what is going to be traded.
it sucks getting screwed!!

I had a rock with 4 gorgeous rics on it, 3 with 2 mouths, and 1 with 3..
I had a trade set up locally with someone for a lot of SPS frags, and thought i was getting good sized healthy frags, turns out they were small, half dead all brown frags.........
We wnded up working it out and settling it, the lady was nice about it. It would have been much easier to just do it right the first time.
i have traded alot, and this was my first bad experience

very good notice Alex. also be aware, sometimes the best looking pictures are the ones you have to watch out for. the image quality and beauty of coral can blindside you from some photoshop work.

Very true. Make sure to find out everythign and get good pictures. I have been screwed before as well worth lots of money.

I agree, also beware of unnaturally good pictures. IF it doesnt look real, then its not!

Yeah it was from marsh, i would really rather not say the name though because she did work a deal with me in the end, and was not a *@&#$ about it.
Are you on marsh? where in tx do you live?

I live in the cy-fair jersey village area. same screen name. I'm really close to 1960 and 290.

I live in the friendswood area.
Do you ever go to the marsh events?
The lady i traded with was newer to the hobby, bought some SPS frags, and they were doing horrible in her tank so she traded them.

Occationally, I would like to go more frequently, but got married and moved this year, hopefully I'll be able to go now that life is back to normal with just work.
