Don't know if it's ich or marine velvet

I know I need to post a picture, and I will first thing tomorrow but I truly can't sleep I am so worried. It's not even the $ invested but moreso the lives of these fish. I started a post earlier in another part of the forum to learn more about hypo. At first glance I thought the fish had ich so wanted to fine tune what I needed to do to remedy asap. As I'm laying here doing more research though, I'm more leaning towards something else.
2 days ago I noticed one of my flame cardinals was looking pasty colored with tiny speckles. I have a pair of them and one has always been distinctly darker than the other so I didn't think too much of it. Cardinals are ok as far as eating go.
All water paremters are ideal, salinity is 1.024
Today I noticed that my Gramma has a film all over her. Her fins and tail look spotty and filmy. She wouldn't eat today and is thrashing herself all over everything. Her mouth looks darker than usual and puffy. I then noticed that one of my Chromis was thrashing around against rock also, though I don't see anything on his body, yet.
I don't see any rapid breathing on anyone (yet). I'll do anything I possibly can to save these guys, I just love them. I will post pics asap in the morning if I can get one clear enough but really wanted to hear thought tonight, I truly can't sleep I'm so concerned.
I did recently move a firefish from another tank to that one due to some fighting but no other changes in livestock.

film=velvet.
velvet is typically a death sentence.. get all the fish into a hypo QT ASAP!!
do not put live rock in the QT.. you'll have to do daily water changes and watch your feeding.

Thanks rotary, everywhere I go, there you are to advise - thank god for that.
I was reading on reefforum that hypo doesn't work on velvet so I was confused.

it may not, but it does on ich.. I've never had any fish turn around from velvet personally.

If 2 have it now, does that mean they all will?
I CANNOT become a fish slayer of that magnitude. I'm crying out of frustration right now.

crap happens. its not your fault by any means.
I guess stick all the fish in a separate tank.. hypo it and hit it with copper.. I dunno what else to say, but if you're gonna treat.. do it NOW!
remember in any tank you use copper, never put inverts or live rock in there or corals or any of that.
