Well I did not cycle your tank what I did was introduce a food which facilitates the growth of nitrification bacteria colonys with in your tank
Colonies is spelled with "ies" as opposed to "ys"
I'll correct my mistake: Thank you for introducing a source of ammonia to aid in the colonization of the types of bacteria needed for ammonification and nitrification in my aquarium.

People! Should we be ashamed of our posts of pee and cat cloacae? Really, I must, must, must agree with meowzer that urinating into an aquarium, which I must say many people put their hands and arms in to modify, is gross! Think about it! Do you pee into a urinal or toilet, and then plunge your hand in it? Sure, let the would go to the barbarians, who promise to bring the toilet to the aquarium. A breath of fresh urine. There is a reason I do not keep my goldfish in the toilet when I was cleaning its bowl... And WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU NEED A STEP STOOL TO PEE INTO A SPOON? DID YOU EAT WITH THE SPOON AFTERWORDS? I wouldn't be surprised if you did. I once used concentrated urea and nitrogen from urine to culcture algae.

Did you not get that that was a joke? I never added urine to a tank
The joke was that I used the stool (punny?) to raise my height in order to urinate into the tank...
It isn't really that stupid, the fish pee in the tank all the time
I still wouldn't do it just because I honestly don't know what all human urine contains. Anyway, I wouldn't flame people for doing it, I just wouldn't encourage it.

You know, marine fish are constantly peeing very concentrated urine that contains PRIMARILY ammonia, as they absorb almost everything else (except for toxins), so it is different. I didn't get your joke, but now that you point it out, it is too hilarious to exist (ha ha ha). No, seriously. I was just trying to get into the cozy discussion, because I don't post here a lot, and mostly I was trying to point out how fun and childish one can be over a cup of pee, because I am very lonely.

P.S. Once a fellow fish person fed her newly born mandarins human blood. They did fine at first, but then they all died.

P.P.S. You know, human blood , well my own, does not taste too bad at all! Just a slight metallic tang to it, probably from the hemoglobin in it.

Page two of this fascinating thread

Along w/ nitrogen and carbon there are also phosphates and whatever pharmaceuticals are being processed at the time...
Yet another reason for RODI
