i'am new to this hoppy,and even newer to this
message board.i just would like to know why is
it that when finally get our tank to cycle and
get good test readings on all of the things,we
must test for.
WHY MUST WE MAKE WATER CHANGES?
not trying to be stupid or anything of the sort
just Full Of Questions.after all i learned a long
time ago if you don't know then ask.

now, we do water changes for a couple of reasons, one is to exprt exces nutrients that do not eveaporate out
two, is to replinish the trace elemnts taht get used up by your life in the tank
and another is to dilute any problems like water quality(such as nitrate and nitrites), bu tif everything is ok, then the last would not be theee reason
