i paid off my truck a week ago.as soon as i made the payment i knew it would fall apart.well yesterday the tranny blew .
go figure.so i need to look for a tranny tomorrow.luckily i have a spare truck but ,i knew it was coming
there goes the corals i was planning on buying today.

You have it backwards. It isn't the truck, I call it The houses curse on the fish tank. Every time I PLAN (key word) on new corals for my tank, some equipment goes bad, or something in the house breaks or the car falls apart and must be fixed.
Hide your money from the house...LOL..don't breath a word of your intent, announce loudly how broke you are and then you will have the money for corals, run out and get them before the house knows. Otherwise crap keeps happening.

actually it seems when i get extra cash something breaks.this week i have a couple good construction jobs.i will clear over $5000 this week.thats the problem.we booked a cruise in march so i need to pay that off this week also.well easy come easy go i guess?
us middle income people seem to get the shaft .
its a great little ford ranger so hopefully it last a couple more years after this.
just have to drive my gas guzzler around for a bit.

That's what happens to me. I had overtime coming (Thanksgiving) and got sick and missed days, making the overtime straight time. THIS time during Xmas I made sure not to say a word...I got my extra pay and on payday I oredered what I wanted and noting in the house/car got it! Finally!
I know I'm being silly, but I totally agree and understand...seems something always comes up.

its alright though.i try to look at it this way.i have a nice home alot of healthy pets.bills are paid and anything extra is good.reading the news and to see how many people have it bad from layoffs and such .i cant complain too much.now i have to go to the store and get antibiotics for my goat.she has some yuk coming out of her eye.

well yea we have our health but,just got home a bit ago with some antibiotics for the goat.she came up to me and now i noticed a golf ball size lump on the side of her mouth and she keep sticking out her tongue and it looks like her tongue has puss from what ever infection her eye has.so have to call the vet in the morning.i would guess she needs some good antibiotic shots now.

That sucks. The same exact thing just happened to my dad, paid off his truck, 2 weeks later, engine failure. It's like they have a little remote they push to destroy the car when it's paid for, LOL.

yea ,i am more worried about my goat today.i called a mobile vet and left a message to call back.i would think he will lance the infection and give her a shot or two.
i have alot of friends here and one knows a transmission guy so i will call him tomorrow.
i will make some good money at work this week and then back out the door.its ok though at least i have work,not like alot of others in my field.i must be doing something right.
