dont think my skimmer is working anymore

first, I know everyone hates the seaclone, but it was all I could afford at the time...
My problem with it is I have had it up and running for about 7-8 weeks now, and its not making foam...
It is putting water up in the cup, and slime, but its surging out water every about 8 seconds or so, almost like a wave...
Any ideas? :notsure:

Yep, jack up that Seaclown and install a decent skimmer under it, and be done with it.

Ive heard stuff about them getting clogged. I would take it out and clean all tubes and soak the powerhead in vinigar for a day and see if it helps.

Check your air tube and see if it is filled with salt.
If it is, put some water in it and blow it out.
I recently drilled the top of my lid (in the middle) and added an airstone and a little tubing submersing it just inside the middle tube.
Now, I was getting good results with the SeaClone before but now I'm getting even better results with the modification.
I'd also consider recleaning everything. It may take a day or two to re-break in, but I do about every month as it begins to look sick.
