OK (whew!) Alright my condy decided to check out the intake of a powerhead. Thank god my wife just happened to catch it as the lights were out for the night.
We turned the ph off, light on and observed...it managed to get itself pretty mangled up. I used the magfloat to gently bumpity bump it off the intake. Only two tentacles cut but many others deflated and twisted.
I plan to leave the lights off tomorrow to help with recovery...
Any other suggestions?
PS And I'm going to start prepping for a 50% wc in case it guts out.

would have been better if you let it remove itself from the ph instead of taking it out. you're just going to have to keep an eye on it now and cover your ph and anything else that might cause it harm. just leave the lights on and if it feels like it needs to hide it will, hope it pulls through

Well it was really stretched out and twisted...It seemed like the thing to do.
It seems to be doing alright now, but I'm going to bed soon. Hopefully It'll be OK.
Thanks for the reply.

You should be ok... a few tenticles are not tragic, but if you cut its foot.. then I would be more worried. They dont recover to easily from a torn foot. Good luck. Carbon is a good idea too
