Dorm Fridge Chiller

I was wondering if anyone has done the dorm size fridge turned into a chiller deal. More importantly if you have....does it work? I have seen the plans and figured that as long as the flow through it was slow enough it should work but would like some input.

Awhile ago there was a very in depth thread about exactly how a frige works,and why they do NOT make eficient chillers..To make a long story short,#1,they are not powerfull enough tochill water passing through them..#2,the water flow would need to be sooooo slow,that you could not replace enough warm tank water with cold chilled water fast enough to affect the overall tank temp...
