is this OK ?
and is the plankton microscopic because when I dose I see it through the tank coming out of the retuen mag 12 i see like tiny bubble-like particles which i'm assuming is the phyto plankton since it happends right after I dose ? but then it stays for weeks before clearing up ?
what do I do ? I have 80 corals that benefit from this dosing but it make my water not crystal clear..any soloutions ?

I really don't know much about this, as I've always tried to avoid corals that have to be feed. But personally I spot feed. Realize that with 80 some corals that might be a little tough though.

It depends on what corals you have. Not many benfit a whole lot from phytoplankton, although it wont hurt them there are better things. Zoa plankton is a better size micron for most of the corals we have but so is cyclops and mysis, again depending on what corals you have.

LPS Can readily take large meaty foods, my hammer corals, my frogspawn, orange fungia and bubble coral all eat silversides, mysis, and even pieces of clam with no issues at all.

Phytoplankton doesn't technically feed much of your coral, they'll eat it but most prefer zooplankton. What phyto will do is feed living zooplankton in your tank. You can do a mix of the two, but I'll usually sprinkle cyclop-eeze in my tank once every couple of days and I have it mixed in with my homemade food so it gets around. Feeding the tank overall seems to do just as good (for me) as spot feeding. Now, for clams or specialized coral like sun coral, you'd likely want to spot feed, but most common coral is ok with feeding the tank.

When feeding the coral in my tank (99.9% SPS) I use a mixture of Seachem Reef Plus, DT's, Coral Frenzy, and the frozen bar of Cyclopeeze.

Spanko Do you like the coral frenzy? I was going too try it but didn't know much about it.

Yeah I do. You have to soak it a little in tank water first otherwise it just kind of floats on the top. I turn off the return pump from the sump, but keep the Koralia's pumping in the tank. Throw the stuff in the tank and let it sit about 30 minutes. Can see the SPS polyps closing so I am guessing they are getting something. I am seeing good growth too.
