Dot on envelope ??

What does the black dot on my envelope mean?
I'm such a novice, just learning the message board way.

Melody, I think you must be right. I still had a dot and you all had posted since I had. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Melody is correct. That is why even your new threads have a dot on them. Many folks used to think that the envelope was a camera......when a dot was on it.
