dottyback, compatibility

can a fireshrimp go in with a dottyback? Dottyback been picking at my hermit crabs, hasnt actually ate one yet though...

yes, he will go with your dottyback. what species is it? i have a sunrise that i love. he is in a tank that has 2 cleaners in it and he never bothers them. the dotty might nip at him when he first gets in the tank, but then things should settle down. dotties are great. later, bo

Not sure I agree with Grouperhead. Dottybacks are known to be very aggressive and a Firefish could be an easy target.

fireshrimp, not firefish, dotty backs arent really agressive i think but territorial....they dont like fish that are there own shape/color. the only agression i have seen towards a firs shrimp is it was messin with a gramma around its cave and the gramma bit its leg off. later, bo
