Drain Noise problem

I have a 75 gallon reef ready tank. I just set it up today and it makes a lot of noise. The durso , I believe is not the problem. The air gets inside the tube and has no way of escaping and gets in my sump. It creates a lot of bubbles in the sump and is not quiet. Are there any solutions?
Thanks

I believe you are trying to run to much GPH for the OF.
How big is the stand pipe? 1"?
How many GPH are you trying to push?
Also How many 90's 45's T's and such. Each one of these creates restriction.

What about a hole in the top of the durso? Is there one? If so how big, or have you tried to make it bigger?

i had same issue and took a 1" pvc cap and drilled a bunch of 3/8" holes in it and put it on top of the intake ,now it is alot quieter

Does the end of the overflow tube point straight down into the sump? It might help to attach a 90 degree PVC elbow to the end.
