Drift diving in Cozumel was amazing, what's YOUR favorite spot?

So I just got back from Cozumel, Mexico. Mind you the only scuba diving I had done prior to this was about 15 feet of water in St. Croix off a pier (which at the time, I thought was pretty cool)
HOLY GUACAMOLE was Cozumel amazing. The whole west side of the island is like one big reef, between 15 feet and 150 feet of depth. And the coolest part, was that there was a constant south to north current that slowly escorted you up the coast. I guess they call it "drift diving".
I ended up going to about 80 feet at the most, as saw SO much wildlife. It was crazy. And they say that the reef is only about half of what it was before Hurricane Wilma rolled through a few years back...
So with that being said, where is the coolest place you have ever SCUBA dived? I am pretty much hooked now and want to go as often as I can!

Are you Advanced Open Water certified? If not and were diving just with the resort they were really stupid to let you go that deep!
That being said, Cozumel is the best place that I have dove at as well. Yes, its called drift diving, and its probably the most relaxing type of dive you can do since you just drift along and dont have to work at it.

No, I just did the "discover scuba" thing again, just like last summer. The dive master said that I was more certifiable than the three supposed "experts" who were diving with us. I ended up doing five dives over the course of the week, which had I known i would be doing that many, I would have just gotten certified!
I'll do that next time :)

Be careful! There is a reason that people take the training and get certified. With a standard Open Water certification you arent supposed to go deeper than 60' and with an Advanced Cert, no deeper than 120'. For them to be taking people that have no certs and have not gone through the classroom and open water training that deep is very irresponsible on their part. People can, and have, died from not knowing what they are doing that deep under water.
