drilled holes in aquarium??

i bought this 75gal from some people who had holes drilled in the bottom of the tank. i thought it was for ugf but the more i read could it be for a sump??? my tank is 48" long and the 2 holes are 10" away from glass at each end of tank.

Best thing I've ever done is get a pre-drilled tank and a sump/refugium. Lucky you!
You can get overflow / return kits pretty cheap- all you have to do is silicone them in place, and hook up PCV plumbing. Its a little odd to have the holes at oppostite ends of the tank, but you could use one for overflow and the other for the return.
