Folks...
Do any of you guys/gals use a tank without an overflow/drilled tank? Any pro's and con's would be appreciative. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
if you drill the tank, or just use a HOB overflow, you can have a sump. this will allow you to keep all your bulky/ugly equipment in there, rather than in your main tank.

I have a drilled tank....personell preference I suppose, More cost for drilled would be a con, pros....looks cleaner. Just my 2 cents
also the drilled tanks give you the pro's of having your equipment hidden, but they give you the Con of having limited powerthead/equipment placement.
The not drilled Tanks have unlimited possibilities but it lacks the power of hiding the equipment.
with a drilled tank and all the equipment in the sump, the tank can rest right next to the wall. I have ann HOB overflow and I regret not getting a drilledd tank because now it has to sit an extra 5-6 in away from the wall taking up more space in my already small apartment.
Cool! Thanks for all your opinions and comments. I think I'll save up and get a drilled tank. My only worry is that I hear about the overflow beginning to leak, and that would really be a buzz kill!
IFIREFIGHT: I used to live in Orlando and Leesburg, but now I'm in Johnson City, TN. Not very many saltwater fish stores here!
