I'm setting up a 150 gal reef tank. I ordered the tank corner-drilled and inside the overflows the holes are fitted with pvc(?) with diagonal cuts. After the fittings both corners enter a 90 degree elbow into a horizontal line and then one more 90 elbow to a vertical drop to the sump. When I start up this tank am I going to be dealing with loud slurping noises? What can I do to eliminate this?

I have a all glass 72 bow front and it has factory drilled overflow but the pipes are straight all the way down but at the top of the pipe their is a pipe that floats inside the overflow pipe. it is used to quiet the sound of the water going down the pipe. the only sound my tank makes is a faint trickle niose from the water driping out the anti syphoning hole in the return line. the float is like a ball with a tube just smaller than the overflow on the bottom and a smaller tube on the top to allow air to flow through the ball and down the overflow. that ball floats on the surface of the water and the larger tube goes in the overflow.. I know it's hard to explain how it looks. if you want I'll try to take some Pics of the set up.

i don't know the size of the overflow but u can slip a prefilter sponge over the pipe, also put a bioball over the top of the pipe the water will go thru the bio ball if it gets that high.it will difuse the air going down the top of the pipe.
