Drilling Tank

Has anyone had their glass tank drilled? Results? Where would be the best location to have it drilled. I'm leaning towards the back as opposed to the bottom. Higher? Lower?

i would not get it drilled...if its not that way form lfs... i wouldnt chance it at all... could shatter and then your out a tank... glass shops wont garentee it from breaking so again.. chance...to many chance for something to go wrong... get an over flow box.. chaper and less hassle....

Are you wanting to install an overflow?? That is the only reason I can see to have a tank drilled. I agree that you don't want to drill a tank. Just save up and buy a bigger tank that already has an overflow.
