droopy coral?

I have a piece of cat's eye and it got upset a week ago.So I put carbon on the tank and he seemed to be at ease.Now things are back to normal(though he hasen't recovered all his color back yet) but when he opens up his front tissue "droops" for lack of a better word.Does anyone know whats going on??

I think from your discription of it loosing color it may have bleached in this case it will need to regrow it's symbonic algae in order to survive and if this is what happened the only thing you can do is sit and wait and hope for the best.
