Dropping off like flies.

I posted this in the fish discussion but I was hoping I could get more answers here.
By soldiers i mean fish, Ok so for the past month or so I have been having a problem with my fish dying off on me. Lemme tell you what I started with and what I am down to now.
135 FOWLR
115lbs lr
4in sand bed
1 flame angel
1 blue tang
1 domino damsel
1 firefish
2 scooter blennies(these rule by the way)
2 ocellaris clowns
1 coral banded shrimp
various crabs and snails
I had bought a naso tang but he didnt make it more than a week.
I also got a yellow tang at x-mas, he too only made it for two weeks.
Just recently I purchased a Juvi emperor and he only made it 5 or 6 days. he had no signs of anything wrong, he just died.
That was 3 weeks ago. Since then, the flame angel died, then went the clowns, they got real sick looking before they dies, kinda pale and what not.
Now I am down to the blue tang
The firefish
the two scooters
and teh damsel, who isn't looking too hot, he seems to be getting pale, its not ich though. Im not real sure.
My water parameters are as follows.
as of 1/29/03
ph 8.2
Alk 2.2
Nitrate ( not too sure got varying results) 50/2.5
Nitrite .1
Ammonia 0
as of 2/10/03
ph 8.2
Alk 2.2
Nitrate ( not too sure got varying results) 50/2.5
Nitrite 0.5 - .1
Ammonia 0
so I think my water is ok. What could be causing this? I would like to add more fish to my tank but I'm not about to until I find some sort of answer to my mystery here.
also I have some algae growth in my sump, would this be affecting the tank at all? Its not calpura, just regular green algae.
The tank has been up since October, It cycled almost immediately with all of teh live rock that I added. Up until xmas everything in the tank was perfect, all of my readings were normal and nitrates and treates were at 0. And i didnt add all of the fish at once. I waited atleast two weeks. with the smaller ones liek teh clowns, I just put them both in at the same time but other than that everything was going well until the yellow tang was put in. He was fine and then just died. No signs of anything wrong. So I am not real sure.
also when acclimating them I followed swf.coms procedure to a T so its not like i just dumped em in the tank. Thats why I am so baffled.
The salinity is where its supposed to be, and as for over feeding, that may be part of it but for the most part there really isn't much left when they are done with it. Just so confused. Thanks for the idea though, I'll try feeding a little less. Anyone Else?
suppsoe it could be a disease, I was planning on having the water checked at the ol LFS tomorrow, is there any way to test for specific diseases? And is tehre any way other than completely starting over to get rid of it if I do have some disease. The Blue tang seems to be fine as well as the scooters and the firefish. just aggrivating.

any nitrite is toxic to the fish, that may be contributing. also, I'm not sure how if effects fish, but your alk seems a bit on the low side.
when was your last water change?
did you change any of your additives or anything different in the tank recently?
sorry, probably not much help here
