DSB Conversion concerns

I will be replacing the UGF & CC on my 135g in the near future, and replacing it with a DSB. I plan to do the whole procedure in one afternoon. I intend to remove all decor & live rock, then the fish. I will house the fish in a plastic garbage can with a powerhead & airstone running. I figure the fish will be in this situation four 3-4 hours.
After removing the CC & UGF, I will add the DSB followed by the live rock & decor (bear in mind that I do not intend to empty the tank of the water. I will be doing the change with the water in the tank. Seems messy.) I intend to add the fish last. My concern is that the water will be cloudy with all sorts of particles floating around. Would that be OK for the fish? If possible, I'd rather not have the fish remain in the garbage can over night.

If you could get a couple more of those plastic cans you could drain as much of the water out of the tank as you can. Then remove the CC and UGF.That way only a small portion of the water will be clouded up.Then dump this water, refill the tank with the water from the cans, put in the sand, then put the rest of the water and fish back in.Quick, simple, and no cloudy tank.I would suggest using a fair ammount(if not all) live sand because you will be loosing alot of bio bacteria in this removal. You don't want a recycle.

Thanks Mr Salty for all the advice you have been offering me lately.
The reason why I plan on leaving the water in is so that my filtration (3 Aquaclear 500's) will remain runnning. These three filter will be my source of good bacteria once the cc is removed. I understand that if water does not flow through the filtration system for more than 30 minutes, the bacteria starts to die down. Correct me please if I am wrong here. As a result, by leaving the water, I am ensured to have beneficial bacteria.
