DSB do i need filter?really need2know!

i have a 30 gallone 4 inch sand bed a few piece of live rock really a fish tank. small stuff in it.. got a seaclone and uv. and fluval do i need the fluval ? will it hurt my filtration in any way having the fluval? will i make more nitrates? ami better off with just the dsb or both together are better? anyone someone please advise lololololol thank you! for replies!!!!!

with the skimmer and dsb, you won;t need the fluval, but you could use it for added circualtion, jsut with no media in it
