DSB users, tank or fuge?

For those of you who use a DSB, where do you have yours placed and why? In the main tank you lose a lot of space, is it worth it? In the fuge do you get enough area to be effective? Thanks.

When I had a fuge it too had a DSB. I wouldn't say a DSB takes up a lot of space. Its kind of like saying LR takes up a lot of space.

well, if you are after appearance alone, then I would say fuge(if teh look bothers you)
if not, I would say do BOTH
It will only add to the benefits of having one, by giving you even more sq/f of DSB. NOT a bad thing to have at all

I would put a sand bed in both but I would not put a DEEP sand bed in anything smaller than a 2 square foot footprint.
