Does anyone have directions or diagrams for a DIY Inline skimmer that would hook into the loop of other equipment connected to the main water pump?
I'm thinking instead of useing a skimmer that pulls water out of the sump then returns it there too I could build one that pulls out of the sump and sends it on to what ever might be next wether it though the pump or my canester heater. I'm seting my tank up slowly and this is what I'm working on currently.
I'm not even sure its cost afective to build a skimmer rather then buy one. If you have any sugetions then please let me know as well as where you can get some of the materals. I know its hard to find clear plastic tubbing like what a skimmer is made of.
