dual exhaust options

Ok i want to get a better sounding exhaust system for my V-6 ranger....One guy told me they have something called Electric dumps...you have a button and it lowers the pipe and makes you run straight headers....is this expensive or even feasable?
I was looking at some flowmasters and they are like 400:eek:
anyone got a ranger with duals?

on a efi engine it isn't necesary to have header dumps on a big block or some dragster then it is plus your cpu and o2 sensors would be all jacked up from the exhaust exiting some where else i always stuck with borla just get a cat back you will hear a big difference and maybe pick up some gains for the money you get borla not the duals, duals is for like 300hp and up
