Dual Overflows on a standard 55

does anyone with a standard 55 have dual overflows? i am just looking into getting more water to my sump for skimming.
any ideas?

i know that NMReef has 2 lifereef overflows on his 55! cant really help you out though!

Dual overflows on a 55 seems like overkill to me. A single 1" overflow is plenty of flow for a 55 gallon to the sump. What kind of skimmer do you have? Maybe you need a larger rated skimmer. Or maybe you need a larger return pump to maximize the overflow you already have.

I have a 400 gal/hr sump pump that has approx 4' of tubing to top of tank (return). Is that called head pressure? not sure. My overflow came with the tank (1" dia U-tube). I have a prizm skimmer that does the job. I am not concerned about the skimmer, IMO, it does the job. I just want more water movement to the sump and back to the tank. would i just be wasting time and money?
