do i need a power head for an agressive tank or will a filter and skimmer do the job

I think a power head will be a good idea. Not only will it help with circulating the water for good filtration, but it helps maintain healthy fish. The extra current allows the fish to get the excersize they need. That will imitate the natural currents they would get in the ocean. Just my 2 cents!

Powerheads are neccessary for all kinds of tanks because they provide more flow to the water. You would need extremely over-sized skimmer and filter to go without a powerhead.
