i know it is bad to have metalic objects in or near our tanks.but what about the ships they sink for reefs in the ocean is thier no safe amount u could get away with in tank.maybe sink a tonka truck ha ha.

I had thought the same logic and wanted to sink an old Harley in a 300 and let it grow part of the tank, but the problem is with heavy metals, you dont have an OCEAN to balance the minerals as they breakdown. As its rusts and deteriorates your levels would be very difficult to keep in such a small volume.

Haha that would be really cool. And no I wouldnt put any metals in there because as reef said there isnt enough water volume to compensate for the oxidized metal.

Actually, stainless steel does, but not as quickly.
