Dumb Question

This will probably sound dumb, but here goes..
I use a turkey baster to "clean off" debris on my rock about once a week or so, my question is...Now that I am using Marc Weiss DNA and Black Powder for excelled coraline growth, will the cleaning off of the rock affect this process...I know my Inverts all open up to feed when I do this, and the seem to like it, but am I disrupting the coraline growth??

i don't think so. the rocks need to be fairly clean of debris for coralline to take hold and grow imo. i got lots of current in my tank and coralline grows fine.

I have good current in mine also, but you always get a certain amount of build up crap on the rocks, I just wanted to make sure Im not ruining, what Im trying to do..

You might even be helping the corraline by blowing spores around which will help it spread
