Dumd Lighting Q

Ok this goning to sound really dumb and stupid but would it be possible to use a halegen lamp from a hardware store as a MH?

Hi,
basically, no. The amount and type of light coming out of the lamp is completely wrong. I wrote a reply about this a little while back, do a search and you should find it, I think I gave a few figures.
