Duncan Closed Up! Why?

I will post a picture tonight. Yesterday my Duncan closed up tightly. It has 3 big heads and 5 babies. I can post a picture tonight, but any reason why this would happen?
Of note - I did a water change on Saturday and cleaned the powerheads. The direction of flow might have changed as a result of cleaning the powerheads.
Please help!

Mine dont like too much flow, make sure the powerhead isnt blasting it. Mine have never had an abnormal closeup since the day I brought it home

Thanks, I will check it when I get home from work. I adjusted the flow up last night after I noticed it had closed up.

From time to time my duncans will close up completely. Not quite sure if it is because it caught some food or because it was bothered.

mine are sensitive to changes in water chemistry although they dont close up completely... have you done a water change recently or are you over due for one?

I have 3 different colonies and they all have closed up tightly one way or the other. One time they didn't like a cleaner shrimp poking on them and they got upset.

That bristle worm may have something to do with it. Seems pretty large. Does it hang around the coral? If not, then change the flow back to where it was before you changed it. Looks healthy otherwise.

Well that is actually a brittle star that lives next to this guy.

They have co-habitated for a while now with no ill effects.
