What are the req on lighting with duncans?

duncans and whiskers are the same thing although some people call the duncans with the finer tipped tentacles "whiskers" its all the same really.
Alot of people/places call the duncan non-photosynthetic although I do think they benefit somewhat from light.
Ive had them under pcs.. they did great.
I have them under 70w MH on a 12g frag and they are great.
They wont shy from supplemental feedings either
They are pretty indestructable as far as LPS goes in my opinion.

i have mine on the bottom off set from the 250 watt mh basicly 18 inches from top of polyp to light fixture.

Mine are in the bottom of a 21 inch tank under 2x150W MH which is maybe 5-6inch off water level.
