Duncan wont open

I have a duncan that was opened the first week that I bought it. It then closed and has not opened since.
Is this normal?

Hi there. How long has it been close for. Mine only closes at night. when was the last time you had a water change. Try that if its been a lil.

If I am correct it has been closed for about 1.5 weeks. I tried feeding it today but it wouldnt come out.
