Dusters

I have some "dusters" on one of my rocks. I am pretty sure one is a feather duster I also have one that looks kind of the same but the "feathers" that come out on this one dont waive around like the other but more looks like a "sun" kind of hard to decribe. Anyway my question isnt so much the ID but rather what is the size range, right now they are only a 1/8 to 1/4 inch in size. They are really cool looking. I imagine they are "filter feeders"? Is there anything that I would want to make sure I had in the water for them to survive well? My guess would be they are hardy being they survived all the travel.
Here is a pic of one

Yes, they're feather dusters, and yes they're filter feeders. Usually there is no need to add anything extra to keep them alvie, but dosing something like DTs phytoplankton will feed them.
