For all you computer gurus. Can a DVD+R disc be used in a CD rewritable drive? Can I use it to make a giant music CD? This must be a really dumb question .Sorry in advance.:notsure:

Adding the drive to my old computer wouldnt be worth it in my opinion. It came with windows 95 and like a 4GB hardrive a DVD drive.:hilarious.I did add a CD rewritable years ago. Maybe its time for a new computer. .......Ya think!

I'm sure it's older than 6 years.It gets better.
I paid close to $2000 back then.
Now I can get one for about $500 and it would be a 100x better. This system still runs good for what I use it for.......PS. It's runnin W98SE for all of you picturing me sitting here with W95.

Ok so its older than 6 years. I just ment old really. I don't see how you still stand it using a PC that old. Its definitly time to think of upgrading you'll wonder how you ever got by with a PC that old.

- Yes a DVD can be used to make a HUGE music CD - although they cant be put into a CD player and use it -(at least not the ones I have done)
I have recently put all of the music I have from the 80s onto 3 DVDs - there are about 350+ songs each.
I am using these as backups and will transfer them to my hard drive and burn CD-Rs as needed.
Once you follow the advise from the others and upgrade then this is possible and highly recommended since it took my collection of CDs from about 90 CDs to 3 DVDs - not bad
