My new dwarf eel will not eat! i have tried frozen fish, krill, live snails/crabs and ghost shrimp. I have had him for 5 days now and i havent seen him consume anything. I have tried the frozen fish on the stick/fishing line trick and it still didnt work? PLEASE help. i really dont want to lose this guy.

I feed my pair of snowflake morays raw Shrimp that I buy from Publix .. the same stuff that i eat .. i just put it on the end of a feeder stick and rub their nose in it and they go crazy .. try it .. you may be happily surprised

Can you list your water parameters for us? Most times, a fish not eating is a water quality issue. However, eels can go quite a while without eating.
We need to know your pH, kH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, salinity, and temperature.

haha lioncrazz.. why is it always you and me who are helping people with their fish's eating habits? .. but yeah .. last person we talked to had some water problems so go ahead and tell us your parameters .... but just to let you know .. about every 6 months I let my eels go a week without eating .. just to make sure they don't switch back to live foods ..and my eels are very healthy .. I wouldn't be too worried at this point ..

when i had a golden dwarf moray in my reef tank.it took over a month for him to eat.no worries just be patient.as long as he doesnt look too skinny and acting normal then he should be ok.give him time to adjust being in your tank,he will he eat when he is ready.or you could be like me and one day come home and your cleaner shrimp is missing, then you will know that he is eating.
