Dwarf Lion Feeding Question

I got a dwarf fuzzy last Thursday (he was eating quite aggressively at the LFS - and even jumped into the next tank thinking it was feeding time). He hid until Saturday and then ate one chunk of mussell. Last night he ate a piece of frozen krill and two silverslides but then didn't seem interested anymore. Just wondering if a few silverslides and piece or two of krill, clam, or mussell is sufficient feeding. He's about 4 1/2 - 5" and is in a 55g tank - alone right now except for a large hermit crab.
Thanks much!

At least you got yours to eat a little frozen, most take a while to get weaned. What was the LFS feeding? It is not uncommon for them to not eat for a couple of days while getting acclimated. Mine didn't eat anything for almost a week after I brought him home and now I sometimes have to limit him. Good luck.

The LFS had him about a month and was feeding him chunks of clam, mussell, shrimp, etc. He just doesn't associate me with feeding yet, but I'm sure he'll come around.

Keep in mind that most lions take long breaks from feeding, for no apparent reason, from time to time. They can, and do, go a long time without eating.
