Ok folks. Any food suggestions to switch a dwarf from live to frozen foods? Tried jumbo mysis no go. He takes live ghost shrimp rt out of my hand but just stares at the mysis.
About 3-4 months. Its become active the last 2 months. Took longer to get acclimated then I expect. It always ate, but now is all over the tank and waits for food at the top
Have you tried killing the Ghost Shrimp before feeding it? Make it a three step process, first get it to eat fresh dead ghost shrimp, then frozen & thawed ghost shrimp, and then it will be easy to get it to eat dead other foods.
He will eat dead yes. I can try freezing and thaw. I don't mind getting live. I just think long term I could give more variety w frozen plus it being easier. He doesn't get fed every day either, so its not that he's never hungry lol
