I'd say it also depends on the size tank. I had a niger and dwarf together in my 135 back in college and they were fine. When I moved to Dallas, they had to go into a 30 gallon for less than a week until the big tank was up again. Within 2 days my niger had completely de-finned my lion. Needless to say he didn't make it.

i have a dwarf in with a cherub angel, a fiji blue devil damsel, a 2 inch maroon, and a few shrimp without a problem. there are other fish in there but nothing the lion could take down. i think it'd be ok except the trigger.

I have a Dwarf Lion with diamond Goby, tank raised Maroon Clown, Atlantic Pygmy Angel, and a Valentini Puffer. The Lion is a gentle giant, and is almost about 3.5/4" long. I got him when he was pretty small. He doesnt bother anyone, and even ignores Doink the Clown when he tries to back into him in order to get him out of "his spot". The only problems I have had are with the Angel beating the hell out of a Six Line which died less than a day after I got it, because the Angel did not want it anywhere in the rock. And my Puffer sometimes nips my Clown's fins. All of my other fish are also "mid-sized", meaning they are all about half their full grown size, the Maroon Clown is only about 2" though. I think those fish you want to have would be fine if you introduced a small Lion like I did. It might gobble up the Damsels though when it gets full grown, but you never can tell.

The lion would probably be fine with all of those fish. I have my fuzzy dwarf in with an engineer goby, diamond goby, (4) neon gobies, small tank raised maroon clown, volitan lion, huge puffer, arc eye hawk, lawn mower blenny, and a batfish.
