dwarf lionfish

The oter day i noticed that my lionfish had what looked like a tumor on it belly, so I decided to take him out and put in qt, today when I got home it looks like his stomach is rotting away what should I do?

It could very well be a tumor or tuberculosis.. It may also be aggression. Can you provide more details about what you see, and post a picture if possible. Also, how is the fish doing aside from this? Have you noticed any aggression? Is the diseased area an open wound?
