reeftopia.com or seahorsesource.net
(i dont have any yet but someone told me those are the best)but make sure you read alot about them before you buy them(feeding them live brine shrimp everyday, making sure no hydroids get in there, etc

I got mine thru Rykna, she is AWESOME!!!!! And I recently orderd from reeftopia and had a very good experiance and the ponies are all very healthy. not to mention they sent at least 2 preggo males, one of which had at least 12 babies yesterday!!!!!!!
I did have on DOA in my order and they credited my CC right away.
Check with Rykna, I think she may have babies soon...dont quote me on that though

Captive Bred: Seahorses(or any other animal)that is born under the care of People; such as a baby zebra in a zoo.
These animals are 110% more healthy, and suited for life in captivity. They have been raised to eat food that is readily sold in pet stores.
Wild Caught: Seahorses(or any other animal)that is caught or collected in the wild, brought into captivity, and sold in the pet store. Most of these animals, especially seahorses, refuse to eat prepare frozen foods and starve to death. Wild caught animals also can/do carry multiple kinds of diseases that captive bred animals are very susceptible to, and may die from because their immune system has no defenses against these foreign bacteria.
Hence, leave the wild animals in the wild, and purchase captive bred animals for your home.

Wow, Rykna, I didn't realize you would occasionally sell some of your babies. Do you ship? Perhaps I could consider you a great source when/if I ever get to set up my DSH tank here in MI. By the way, have your preliminary findings revealed anything about the 5.5 vs the 29? Not only which is better for the ponies, but also which do you think is easier for the keeper? Perhaps bridge the difference with a 10? I'm still reading like crazy. Finally got my hands on a great DSH book. Enjoying all your posts.
By the way, my compliments on your mild attitude when you find someone else to be more 'right' than you. I've found way too much 'attitude' on other forums. Pretty soon it's more about the person than the ponies. I admire all the experience found here, and enjoy reading the very informative posts everyone offers. Keep up the good work; we're all benefiting!!

Thanks Veronicad! The experience and positive attitudes is a what makes this forum a step above the rest.
Big Round of Applause for Everyone here on SWF

Especially our Monitors
For taking the time to keep the forums enjoyable

I will have ponies to ship, however, in respect to our Monitors, I have been asked not to discuss my pony business here on the forum.
So if you would like more information, please email me at:
rykna.olson@gmail.com

As for the 5.5 VS the 29.,
the results are in.

That's cool. I understand about not discussing things here out of respect for SWF; although I believe I've looked and never seen DSH for sale here. Could be an error on my part; I've looked at so much I could be confused. Anyway, thank you for the contact and reference, and I'll definitely be in touch.
Gotta dash--busy life calling!!! Talk to everyone soon

Sounds Great!!!!

The only reason I mentioned it was I got my "fin" slapped for mentioning I was going to sell them; although as you pointed out~SWF doesn't sell ponies.

i think SWF is very finicky and likes to fin slap if you talk about any competitiveness. so i just completely avoid it.
