I finally got the dwarf seahorse tank finished. I got these little dwarf seahorses from Luke. Two adults and 3 babies.

Thats cool Rykna... I feel for your feeding schedule though. I'm not going to do seahorses again until I'm 65 and retired. Is that all you will have in the tank or will you add any really peaceful fish? I know they're dwarfs, but I bet you could have a couple clown gobies in there no problem. They just sit there like seahorses anyway.
Nice job!

The mini horses are going to be the only occupants of the tank. I was going to add some zoos, but Luke cautioned me. Polyps would eat the babies if given the chance

It's a 15 High. I had thought of putting them into my 90 until I saw exactly how tiny they are!!! I thought the adults grew to 2 -3 inches!!! When I got to Luke's I asked him where the adults were..."That's the adults there." My mouth dropped to the floor.

Thanks! I finally finished decorating the fake rock. I have so much super glue on my fingers I can't tell fingers from glue. I spent several days trimming, arranging, gluing~ shells, dead rock and coral. I had the most fun at the end when I glued the little clam shells together to look like live clams.
So far so good. I got the brine shrimp hatchery going, which is a lot easier than I expected. The female likes to come out the most. The male kinda hangs around in the background..which I can understand after going through labor.

The 3 babies have very different personalities too. The bright yellow one sticks close to mom. The dark little red one is the adventurous type hardly ever see the little guy always exploring. The 3 baby likes to hang out by itself...that's the one hanging on the temp wire.
Still, with horses the work is never done. That's another thing I'm learning regarding the care of seahorses. They need much more attention than any fish I've ever had. My reef tank with my gonioporas was a breeze compared to the care of the seahorse tanks. Not that that's bad, but something everyone that wants to get a seahorse should know.

I sure did! They're so tiny! I can't wait to get more...... I might actually have a chance of seeing one! I hunted all over the tank this morning, finally found them. Gotta start "cooking" more baby brine tonight. Man do these little guys come alive when you feed them.

Here's more pics of the minis.
1st is Pearle.
2nd is Dad
3rd is Mom
4th is Sunshine
5th is the elusive 3rd baby,(hardly visible hanging onto the small brown shell) I've name "Pinky" since it's the smallest of the 3 babies
