dying anemone

i got a long tentacle anemone 4 days ago..hes dying..shrunk up real small..should i throw him out asap???hes starting to turn himself inside out...all the fish r good and coral also..the tanks like 3 yrs old..i dunno whats killin him but dont think hell recover..should i toss him over the fence or what???

give it more time. but if you know for sure its dead, throw it out right away.sometimes it takes days for corals to open. what fish, wtc do you have in the tank? what are your nitrate and ph, etc levels?

Anemones are known for almost totally deflating away to nothing and then reinflating. A dead anemone looks like a giant ball of snot and is possibly one of the worst smells on the planet.
